Carved Light green talisman pendant, view 2

Craftsmanship

The work is known through surface, edge, weight, and light.

Every piece begins with material observation. Natural character guides the contour, carving, polish, assembly, and final documentation of the individual work.

A considered sequence

Four moments of attention.

01

Material reading

Color movement, grain, clouding, translucency, and visible structure are observed before claims are made.

02

Form and carving

Contour and relief are considered against the character and limits of the individual material.

03

Polish and edge

Surface transitions, rims, cords, settings, and bases are reviewed by sight and touch.

04

Final documentation

The selected work is measured, photographed as needed, and individually tested before dispatch.

Close inspection

Finish is read at the transitions.

We look closely at carved recesses, polished planes, rims, drill points, cords, settings, and the way light crosses an edge. Additional macro views are shared when they help a collector understand the actual piece.

Measurement and certification

The final record belongs to the selected piece.

After availability is confirmed, the actual work is measured and submitted for independent gemological testing before dispatch. Certificate details are shared before shipment and the original document accompanies the work.
